Re: GeomView on SGI's 8-bits Indigos

That's news to me. We have an 8-bit Indigo here -- vanilla, no XS graphics
or anything -- and the binaries from both geomview-bin-1.0.tar.Z and
geomview-bin-1.0.1.tar.Z seem to run fine on it.

Can you provide any more information?
Which distribution (binary vs. source, 1.0 vs. 1.0.1) are you using?

Also try running "uname -a" and "hinv". When I run those on our Indigo, I see:

	IRIX ricci 4.0.1 11150233 IP12
and
	1 33 MHZ IP12 Processor
FPU: MIPS R2010A/R3010 VLSI Floating Point Chip Revision: 4.0
CPU: MIPS R2000A/R3000 Processor Chip Revision: 3.0
	On-board serial ports: 2
	Data cache size: 32 Kbytes
	Instruction cache size: 32 Kbytes
	Main memory size: 8 Mbytes
	Integral Ethernet: ec0, version 0
CDROM: unit 4 on SCSI controller 0
Disk drive: unit 1 on SCSI controller 0
Integral SCSI controller 0: Version WD33C93A
	Iris Audio Processor, rev 3
	Graphics board: LG1

Does a core file appear in your directory when you run geomview? (Do the
windows disappear after a while, or does it remain up but useless indefinitely?)
