Re the undefined _us_rsthread_stdio you see when linking trigrp: you're
not the only one to see that (Elisha Sacks, eps at princeton.edu, reports it too),
but I haven't been able to reproduce it here and am at a loss.

As a test, you might try compiling the simple program, say try.c:

#include <stdio.h>

main() { getchar(); }

with:
	cc -o try try.c  -y_us_rsthread_stdio  -lc_s

(the -y option asks the compiler to report references to "_us_rsthread_stdio").
When I do this on our 4.0.1 and 4.0.4 systems, I see one line of output:

/usr/lib/libc.a(mp_def.o): definition of external small data _us_rsthread_stdio

Do you get the same?

   Stuart
