geomview dumping core

I have been having problems with geomview dying and dumping core
(segmentation fault), when I delete objects.  This seems to happen only
when I am at the same time writing over the file from which the objects
originally were loaded, but that shouldn't matter when I delete it, should
it?

If I can get a set of files which exhibit the problem, I will send them.

Other than that (it's livable since in my situation it only happens when
I want to return to a "blank slate" anyway), geomview is incredibly
useful for what I am doing.
