More to think about...

The modifiers are working to simulate the different mouse buttons,
but double clicking the right mouse button is still a hardcoded
event.

/* The rightmouse and doubleclick is now hardcoded but should be

bindable through lang later, through a control mechanism similar to
  current motionproc stuff */ -- from /common/event.c

This is a problem for a couple reasons... NeXT generates its own
double click events that are controlable though preferences. Also, it
is currently takeing three or four clicks to generate a geomview
double click (probably because some of them are getting turned into
double click events).

Also, it seems like ctrl-leftmouse_doubleclick is too obscure just to
pick an object. Should it be replaced with a single click. In which
case events for external modules would need to come from a
modifier_key-mouseclick?
