Re: OOGL-to-RIB translation



Setting the line width (on the Appearance panel) does control the
thickness of the .rib lines; however, the line width was originally
intended to be in pixels, and takes only integer values.  The default line
width is the minimum, so you could choose broader but not narrower lines.
Of course in .rib files we can't deal with pixels, and must choose a
world-coordinate size for lines.

I guess we need to reduce the nominal size of a "pixel" (and to make it
consistent between rendering lines as cylinders or flat polygons); maybe
that could be an independent option when writing .rib files.
