using text elements

Hello geomview developers,

We use Geomview version 1.4.1. and we are enthusiastic about !
Now we are looking for a solution to use text elements (letters, numbers,
strings) to mark geoms in a camera view by a text. 
A possible solution could be to use a vector character set and transform
them to the OOGL by hand.
Are there any better and more efficient solutions ?
