Geomview messages

Dear Geomview authors,
	I just uncompressed geomview for the Sun and it's
great!  Here's two problems I encountered almost immediately:

(1)  The screen where I'm calling geomview is filled with error messages
that don't *seem* to affect the functionality... any idea what causes
these?  A small sample is below.

(2)  When using the Postscript Snapshot option, I can't figure out how
to erase letters in the default destination file, or smoothly change to
other directories (above those listed).  Backspace, Delete, Control-H,
Cursor motion, all fail to erase.
