NEED HELP GEOMVIEW!

HI
I downloaded Geomview on my machine two weeks back and have been
beset with problems since then.I need a few clarifications regarding the
use of geomview. One of my colleagues here has also a copy of geomview .
1. CAn I use the same copy of geomview for my work as there can be a
saving of diskspace. How should I set the path to use the copy of
GEomview.Do I need to run install everytime that I plan to use
geomview? Please shed some light on these doubts .Thanks in advance.

2.I have a copy of geomview but it does not work.I get the following
error.
Installing ... cp: geomview: No such file or directory. *** Error
code 2 The executable files are in
/tmp_mnt/engr/meng/srao/geom/Geomview/bin/sgi (not
installed outside the Geomview distribution directory). find: stat()
failed: man: No such file or directory `install_all' not remade because of
errors Installation not completed due to errors. Re-run the install
script after fixing the problem(s). A record of this installation is in
the file "install.log"
I tried unsuccessfully to rectify the error to the best of my
ability but it still does not work.

3.I have the untarred geomview file with me .Is it a better idea to run
the whole thing again and delete the previous installed copy.

4. I would be grateful if you answer the questions as early as possible
for me to continue my work.I could also give you my ftp code and password
if you want to have an insight into the problem.
						Thanking you in advance
						Desperately waiting for help
