OK, here's a bit more info

I loaded (double clicked) and tried to load cube.off.

I got these messages.

Also, no problems and no messages when runing on a black machine.

Note: I checked this time.  Black machines have OS 3,0, white machine  
3.2.

I have yet to try out older version of geomview  (I have a version of  
Geomview 1.4.1 that might work)
