[Update to REQ 5104]: problems compiling src for x11 on linux

The problem you are experiencing is with code written for an
older version of libc for linux.  The file that needs to be
changed is src/lib/oogl/util/futil.c.  You can get a corrected
version from ftp.geom.umn.edu:/priv/trowley/futil.c.  Copy this
to the appropriate place, make from the toplevel, and the build
should be successful.  The link errors are the result of the
library containing this file failing to build.
