The trouble is that we include a copy of the object library libforms.a
which was compiled under Irix 4.  You must be running Irix 5.
This will be fixed in the next release; meanwhile, you can pick up,
by anonymous FTP to geom.umn.edu, 

   priv/slevy/libforms.a.irix52.Z

Uncompress this file, copy it to *BOTH* .../Geomview/lib/sgi/libforms.a 
and .../Geomview/src/lib/forms/libforms.a, and try making again.
That should fix it.
