[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [ REQ 5158]: Geomview for Linux
Greetings from the Uk... I recently obtained a copy of geomview for x11 from the geometry center in Japan. It looks brilliant...but i've had trouble installing it... I changed the makefiles to CPU=linux, which seemed ok, but it just won't compile the 'gvx' program properly....so now i'm stuck... I`m running Linux 1.1.19, and have the Slackware X system, and UIT and slingshot libraries. Xview 3.4. Unfortunately, i don't have Motif or anything like that...so would appreciate some kind of help here... I really like the idea of webspace in 3D, and want to get involved, is there anywhere i can pick up a binary distribution for linux?? Loads of people are using it now, would it be possible to put it online, so that people like me (with little C experience) can participate in all the fun ??? Anyway, Thanks for your time, Please reply... Ken
