You need the Motif library in order to compile Geomview on a Sun. We are not planning to come out with a version that does not require Motif anytime in the near future. You should be able to run our Sun binary, however, on a Solaris system, even though we compiled it under SunOS. > Or should I just use the SGI version if I have access to an SGI? By all means, if you have an SGI, use the SGI version. It runs much faster on and SGI than on a Sun. Mark Phillips Geometry Center
