[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [ REQ 5177]: OOGL libraries
Hi. I'm working on some software that uses Geomview and the associated utilities. I need a utility that can do "general manipulations" on OOGL files -- determine what kind they are, break LIST files into their components, join files into a LIST, and apply other filters to only certain types (for instance, run offconsol only on OFF objects, and run anytooff | offconsol on MESH, and neither on VECT). I want this tool to be as general as possible so it can be used in many cases. I am planning to write this tool. To save myself a LOT of work, I'd like to use the OOGL code from Geomview to deal with the file formats. Is there any 'all-together' documentation you guys have around on how the OOGL libraries should be used, or should I just look at the internal documentation and at the files that use them? Or am I heading down the wrong track entirely because there's some tool to do just what I want and I haven't realized it's there? Any help would be appreciated.
