[ REQ 5239]: Install Problems

I downloaded (ftp, binary), uncompressed (compress -v geomview-rs6000....),
and tar'ed (tar -xvf geomview....tar) but cannot get geomview to run.
when I am in the Geomview directory created by tar and I type "geomview" I get

Could not load program ./bin/x11/gvx 
Symbol _XmStrings in sh is undefined
Error was: Exec format error

I checked in ../Geomview/bin/x11 and gvx is actually there. ../Geomview/bin/x11
looks like:
