While the PowerPC is a nice fast chip, there are significant hurdles
to be cleared before Cyberview can work with MacOS. For example:

* To my knowledge, the Geometry Center's MinneGraphics rendering
engine doesn't yet have any hooks to deal with the "cooperative
multitasking" of MacOS. Cooperation during rendering would be
especially important in an HTTP server, of course.

* Cyberview relies on the GNU C compiler, so that's a problem until
GNU and Apple can make up their philosophical differences.
(Cyberview uses the Objective-C object-oriented extensions to ANSI C
in an essential way.)

The Geometry Center is actively working to expand its base of
supported platforms, but it seems most likely that the first non-UNIX
platform able to support Cyberview will be Windows NT.
