[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [ REQ 5304]: geomview renderer
Hello! I'm not sure if I should address this question to you but you may be able to help me! I've gotten Geomview and like it! I'm particularly intrested in the x-window rendering engine. I don't really have that much use for geomview in and of itself, but I've long wanted to write a free 3d modeling package. Until now I haven't seen much in the way of X11 poly engines, but the one used in Geomview is versatile and fast on a local display. My question regards this rendering code. What is your attitude towards this? Do you think it's possible to speed it up and use it in an interactive 3d modeler? Do you think it's possible to use it as a seperate package? Do you allow such use of your code? I was just wondering, and thanks for your time. _________________ tuggle at vsl.ist.ucf.edu /rent /uggle Institute for Simulation & Training University of Central Florida, Orlando [home] (407)695-0238 [work] (407)658-5073
