Wow, I did not know you were taking requests.  Make that 2 people!  I saw
an announcement, but always thought I'd have to do the port myself, at
some point in the future, in my copious spare time.  But if the experts
are willing to consider doing the port themselves, I'm all for that
instead.  Please consider porting Geomview to FreeBSD.
