Yes, I think Geomview can do everything you want. Grid based data
with per grid vertex coloring can be achieved using the CMESH data
file format. Any contour or boundary lines you compute can be
superimposed by loading them from a separate file after you've already
loaded in your surface. Or, you could store the boundary information
in the same file as the surface date (using the LIST file format).

Once you've computed the data you want to visualize, you can use
Geomview to interact with and view your surfaces from any perspective.
Read the manual included with the distribution for a more detailed
description of capabilites.
