[ REQ 5442]: camera motion and maniview

I'm got geomview & maniview running, have a manifold loaded, and
have the "centercam" control set.  I can use the camera fly mode
to zoom around and the retiling of space works fine.  But if I
have an external module moving the camera with transform-set, the
retiling doesn't occur.  What am I missing?
