Hi, I'm working in a REU program here at Mount Holyoke. We are interested in any information you have on software programs you have available for visualizing certain surfaces and spacecurves. We are studying singular points of surfaces defined as the zero sets of polynomials in two variables, so any software you have that could draw these surfaces and allow us to visualize them would be helpful. Also programs that allow us to draw spacecurves in 3-space and plane curves defined as the zero set of polynomials of two variables. We have had some problems because the operating system on our Next stations is Operating System 2 instead of 3. All our machines have x-windows, so programs that use that would be helpful. Thank you. Dave
