could you help us? We've just taken a look at geomview, and are very impressed. we'de like to use it as a foundation for a particle systems program for in house use. is there a simple program that will generate particles and forces like wind, gravity, collision, constraints, and link easily to geomview? if not, how could we create one easily. what programs would you suggest we use. are there object translaters available? like wavefront, inventor, alias, rib to oogl? is there a way to add texture map viewing on object? we've also looked at evolver is that the right idea ? we're looking for something a non math person could use . and trying to build an interface that's very interactive. like place a sphere in geomview, make it emitt particles, add a force sphere, move it around in geomview to effect particles, set gravity, velocity, birth, death of particles, color particles, create lightning effects with random branching, also trees and fractal like stuff, do collision detection on geomview objects, create forces like wind, turbulence, attractors, emitters, vortexs, etc. we're very familiar with the forms library, renderman, and gl, 3d modeling, animation, feature film type stuff. any help or info would be greatly appreciated. thanx, rudy poat reflex at npac.syr.edu
