There is a newer beta version of Geomview that should work under your 16 bit display. To use it, don't delete your current Geomview directory tree. Just ftp to ftp.geom.umn.edu and grab: /priv/daeron/bin/gvx.linux.gz After unzipping it, use this file to replace your currently installed gvx binary. It should work then. good luck, Daeron
