In the newest, not-yet-released, version of Geomview, Tim Rowley has
added a "postscript snapshot" feature which does pay attention to
geomview appearance properties.  (This is internal to geomview, no longer
using the PSSnap module.)  Assuming you're using an Irix 5 Iris, you can
grab the new geomview executable (to be decompressed and placed in
../Geomview/bin/sgi/gvx) from geom.umn.edu as
   gvx-irix5-forms.Z   (or gvx-irix5-motif.Z if you prefer Motif interface).

Note this is just a compressed SGI executable, not a compressed tar file.
