[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Closed REQ 5693]: question about animation in geomview
> How can I display a sequence of "OFF" files as a movie in geomview? > For example the file sequence is > pmout0000.off pmout0010.off pmout0020.off pmout0100.off pmout0200.off > pmout0300.off pmout0400.off pmout0500.off Try clicking on the Animator module from geomview's Modules panel. It's simplest to use if the names of the set of files you want to play match some pattern, like pmout*.off You'd type this pattern into Animator's input panel, then press Load. This works if the files should be displayed in the order as given by a lexicographical ordering of their names (as is true for the example you gave) and if there aren't any other files matching that pattern in that same directory. If you do have other pmout*.off files in that directory, it might be easiest to link just the ones you want to animate into some other directory, as with mkdir wanted ln pmout0000.off pmout0010.off pmout0020.off pmout0100.off ... wanted and then tell Animator to load: wanted/pmout*.off
