Can you tell what kind of visuals your Windows X display server offers?
Try running xdpyinfo and send us its output.

If the list includes a 16-bit-deep TrueColor visual, the next release of
geomview will support that; otherwise, without getting a different X server
for your Windows box(es), you may be out of luck.
