The people in question claimed that they had loaded the HP-UX X11R5 file set,
and that other libraries (/usr/lib/X11R5/libX11.sl, /usr/lib/X11R5/libXt.sl,
etc.) were present but *not* libXext.sl.  I've no idea why our HP-UX 9.03
system should be different from their HP-UX 9.01 and 9.03 systems.  I gave
them a copy of the libXext.sl from our systems, and they now report that
all's well.

I think the makefiles/mk.hpux file is set to link statically with this file
in future.
