[ REQ 5917]: June 1996 GNU's Bulletin: @item @code{geomview}

Hi! I'm doing some last minute work on the June 1996 GNUs bulletin,
and we'll be distributing a package of yours on the next GNU source
CD. Appended is a brief description of your package that I wrote; if
you have the time, I'd apprieciate if you could look it over and make
any comments or corrections. This is all very last minute of course,
so unless I hear from you shortly we'll have to go with what we have.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Daniel Hagerty

*** Current working copy of text from the GNU's Bulletin:

@item @code{geomview} @value{hfill-kludge} (SrcCD)

@code{geomview} is an interactive geometry viewing program. It allows
multiple independently controllable objects and cameras.
@code{geomview} provides interactive control for motion, appearances
(including lighting, shading, and materials), picking on an object, edge
or vertex level, snapshots in SGI image file or Renderman RIB format,
and adding or deleting objects is provided through direct mouse
manipulation, control panels, and keyboard shortcuts. External programs
can drive desired aspects of the viewer (such as continually loading
changing geometry or controlling the motion of certain objects) while
allowing interactive control of everything else.
