There's a bug, fixed in a later release of geomview. You can pick up a fixed binary from geom.umn.edu as priv/slevy/gvx-hpux.gz It's a gzipped binary, not a tar file; after gzip -d'ing and chmod +x'ing, it's a direct replacement for Geomview/bin/x11/gvx.
