We do have a fixed binary which runs under HP-UX 10.x (as well as 9.x).
You can get it by anonymous FTP to geom.umn.edu as
   priv/slevy/gvx-hpux.gz

This is a compressed binary, not a tar file; to install it you'd say
   gzip -d gvx-hpux.gz
   chmod +x gvx-hpux
   cp gvx-hpux .../Geomview/bin/x11/gvx

substituting for ... the location of the directory where geomview was installed.
