[ REQ 5961]: Geomview problems

Geomview authors-

We are having problems running geomview version 1.4.1 on our recently 
purchased Silicon Graphics Indigo2 Impact workstation running IRIX5.3.
- Geomview is running extremely slow.
- Mouse interaction is not working properly (unable to rotate, 
translate, etc. image)

We have not had any of these problems when running the same version of 
geomview on our Silicon Graphics Power Indigo2 runing IRIX 6.0.1.  Is this a 
problem specific to our workstation and is there something we can do fix the 
problem?  Would a more recent version of Geomview possibly remedy the 
situation?
