Bla.  X Inside has to do things different, don't they?  Everyone
else sanely calls it a 16 bit visual and sets the masks for 555,
which Geomview happily accepts.  As you found out, the solution
is to force X Inside to use a {655,565,556} weighting.  This
should probably go into the FAQ for the next release.
