Yes, if -
   the polygon is a triangle (it'll still interpolate with polygons with
	more vertices, but only after dividing the polygon into triangles,
	so the result will generally be somewhat different from 
	what you'd get if all vertices' colors were considered when coloring
	each point) and if
   you enable smooth (or "csmooth" constant-smooth) shading.
