I wanted to run geomview on a linux machine here in Urbana. But it seems to have a 16-bit display by default, and geomview can't deal. Does anyone know how I go about getting it to use an 8-bit or 24-bit display so that geomview will run? Or is there any way to get a version of geomview that can use 16 bits? Thanks for any help, John -------------------------------------------------------------- X-Geomview currently supports only 24, 8, and 1 bit deep displays. No supported display depth was found.
