[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [ REQ 6077]: Geomview under FreeBSD
Hi there, I've had several problems compiling Geomview under FreeBSD 2.1. I've tracked some of the problems down to the FILE datatype. The Geomview source references several members that don't exist within the FILE structure. Here's some output from the compile: make[5]: Entering directory `/tmp_mnt/home/cia/matthieu/packages/tmp/Geomview/src/lib/oogl/util/O.x11' rm -f futil.o futil.c ln ../futil.c . gcc -I.. -O -pipe -DBSD -Dalloca=alloca -I/tmp_mnt/home/cia/matthieu/packages/lesstif/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -DMACHTYPE='"x11"' -I../../../../../include -c futil.c futil.c: In function `fcontext': futil.c:738: structure has no member named `_base' futil.c:739: structure has no member named `_ptr' futil.c:740: structure has no member named `_cnt' futil.c: In function `fstropen': futil.c:871: structure has no member named `_cnt' futil.c:872: structure has no member named `_ptr' futil.c:872: structure has no member named `_base' futil.c:873: structure has no member named `_flag' A quick check to /usr/include/stdio.h reveals that the BSD box on which I'm trying to compile confirms that the FILE structure does not contain these members. Am I missing something? I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Also, would it be possible to put up a Geomview binary release on the ftp site? Thanks for your help! -Ray
