It looks as though you've got the previous distribution of geomview, both
in binary and source forms.  Please check out our web pages, which point
to the latest releases:

   ftp://geom.umn.edu/pub/software/geomview/geomview-1.6.1-sgi.tar.gz
		(these are ELF binaries) and
   ftp://geom.umn.edu/pub/software/geomview/geomview-1.6.1-src.tar.gz
		(up-to-date source, which does compile under both versions
		 of Irix)

If the transatlantic link is as slow as seems likely, you might do better
getting one or both from our friendly mirror site at the TU in Berlin, under
   ftp://ftp-sfb288.math.tu-berlin.de/pub/geomview/
