I'll assume you're asking about Geomview.

It requires a UNIX system with X windows; it's not currently available for
Windows, nor for MacOS.  Precompiled binaries are available for
Linux (for PC's), SGI, Sun, DEC Alpha (OSF/1), HP-RISC (HP-UX),
RS-6000 (AIX), and Nextstep (68k, Intel, HP).  Source is also available,
though you'll need Motif libraries to compile it.

Hardware graphics acceleration is supported if you have an OpenGL
implementation that uses it.  In the precompiled binaries, only SGI and
Sun Ultrasparc Creator-3D systems can use hardware acceleration; others
are software-only.
