[ REQ 6658]: Problems building Geomview

Hi,
  I'm trying to build Geomview 1.6.1 on my Linux/Alpha box and have hit
two problems:

1) In recent GLIBC C libraries, stdlib.h declares a structure with a
member called 'X'; this gets horribly confused by your definitions of
X,Y,Z, and W in transform3.h ; so I've commented those definitions out for
the moment.

2) I now get link errors of the form:

handle.c(.text+0x828): undefined reference to `OOG_RenewE'
handle.c(.text+0x82c): undefined reference to `OOG_RenewE'
../../../../lib/linux/liboogl.a(reference.o): In function `RefDecr':
reference.c(.text+0x98): undefined reference to `_GFILE'
reference.c(.text+0xa0): undefined reference to `_GLINE'
reference.c(.text+0xc0): undefined reference to `_OOGLError'
reference.c(.text+0xc4): undefined reference to `_OOGLError'
../../../../lib/linux/liboogl.a(streampool.o): In function
`HandleReferringTo':
streampool.c(.text+0x15c): undefined reference to `_GFILE'
streampool.c(.text+0x164): undefined reference to `_GLINE'
streampool.c(.text+0x180): undefined reference to `_OOGLError'
