[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Closed REQ 6859]: Picking problem in Geomview
> I'm a PhD Student in the Prisme Project at INRIA Sophia > in France, and I planned to use Geomview to visualize > terrains triangulations. My problem is the following: > I don't manage to use the picking features of Geomview. > My goal is very basic: I send successives meshes to Geom- > view, and when a mesh is drawn, I would like to wait for > a mouse click (from the user) before sending another mesh. Your program does work if you use an OFF or MESH instead of an nSKEL object. The nSKEL code was intended for higher-dimensional visualization, and some of the standard features (like picking) weren't ever implemented. Since you're doing terrain visualization you should be able to use one of the standard 3D formats like OFF or MESH without any loss in functionality. > I suppose that the solution is as basic as the problem, but > after having read the manual and the FAQ, I don't manage to > find it. It's our bug. We should try to get that documented. Tamara Munzner
