[ REQ 6894]: Compiling Geomview

Hello,

I am trying to compile Geomview-1.6.1 in a Linux box. My kernel version is 
2.2.10, using libc6 libraries, and using egcs-1.1. I get the following
error:

gcc -pipe -I.. -O -I/usr/X11/include  -DMACHTYPE='"linux"'
-I../../../../../include  -c wa.lex.c
wa.lex.c:20: initializer element for `wafsain' is not constant
wa.lex.c:20: initializer element for `wafsaout' is not constant
make[1]: *** [wa.lex.o] Error 1

This makes the compilations of the oogl directory unsuccessful. 

Any insight is welcome.
