Compilation of Geomview code.

This isn't quite right.  Did you edit the file
"makefiles/mk.site.default" to set things up for your system?  You
need to edit that file to specify several pathnames before compiling;
the file has comments in it telling you what to do.

Then do "source config", then try "make install".

If these things don't work, mail us a copy of your
"makefiles/mk.site.default" file as well as the output of a terminal
session in which you do "source config" followed by "make install".
