Dear Hans,

Thank you for inquiring about Geomview!  I am glad that you have been 
able to find Geomview useful in your talk.

Since you mentioned that you have a SGI machine available for your use, 
you can just ftp the geomview binaries and install them on your machine.

To get the files, at your unix prompt, type:
ftp ftp.geom.umn.edu

The binaries are in 
pub/software/geomview/geomview-1.4.3-sgi.tar.Z, so type:

binary
cd pub/software/geomview
get geomview-1.4.3.-sgi.tar.Z


The source are in:
pub/software/geomview/geomview-1.4.3-src.tar.Z

I hope this helps.  If you still cannot install geomview correctly, 
please let us know the precise problem you are encountering.  For 
example, make sure you transfer in binary mode, and that you have 
successfully extracted the files.  Let us know.
