Geomview can work remotely if you use the version with GL graphics and
Motif interface, but even then it runs much more slowly than a local copy.
As Mark says, it's best to get even a miniature version of geomview installed
locally on each machine.

(Hint for people responding to "software" mail: if you pass along a note
received from elsewhere, include an "Originator:" line like this one:


and the request-software will adjust its record of the originator of the
request, and will include that person on all relevant mail.)
