Hello Rudolph,

The problem you're experiencing is that the sun4 Geomview binary is unable
to absorb the DISPLAY variable from the SunOS 5.3 environment. This is a known
problem with only one real workaround. You will have to compile a Solaris
version of Geomview from the source distribution. This requires that you
have the Motif and X11 libraries. Will this be a problem? We don't yet
have solaris here which is why we don't distribute a solaris binary version
yet. However, I've compiled it before on solaris boxes at other locations
and it works.
