[ REQ 5286]: cyberview not working on nhgs.tec.va.us

I installed cyberview3d on the nhgs.tec.va.us server 
(at http://www.nhgs.tec.va.us/apps/cyberview3d/)
and have not been able to get it to work properly.

I can get the interface page and all the manual pages but when I submit the 
file: /apps/cyberview3d/acme.3dhtml	(This is what the installation 
					 instructions directed me to do)

It gives me the following error:


>500 Server Error

>The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable 
>to complete your request.

>Please contact the server administrator, k.w.edwards at larc.nasa.gov and inform 
>them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may 
>have caused the error.



I'm not sure what it could be. I tried reinstalling cyberview
and cannot get it to work. The only change I made to the
script is that the httpd directory is: /usr/local/httpd
instead of                                   :/usr/local/etc/httpd


I changed permissions around so that eventually I had global write permission
on all relevant files and it STILL didn't work. 

I'm not sure what the problem could be. I hope you can help.
