The library you seek is -lmib (libmib.a) which should exist in your
${GEOMROOT}/lib/sgi directory if all the libraries have been compiled.
Thus, to compile it in, you'd need to replace -lMi with something like:

-L../../../../../lib/sgi -lmib

to get coloredit to compile. Also, to get NDview working you will need
the patch file: /pub/software/geomview/geomview-1.5.0-patch1.tar.Z from
our ftp.geom.umn.edu ftp site. Here is what the README says about it:

    geomview-1.5.0-patch1.tar.Z
        This patch provides some files that are missing from all of
        the above distributions and which are necessary in order
        to run certain external modules.  In particular, you need
        to get this file if you want to run the NDview, NDdemo,
        and Not Knot Flythrough modules.
