If you're brave enough to experimentwith some very rough code,
you can get ftp://ftp.geom.umn.edu/priv/trowley/gvogl.tar.Z
This source should be overlaid on top of a clean source distribution.

Some notes about this source:
	* Very experimental -- may be unstable
	* You'll probably have to modify the makefiles a bit to
		make things work.  In particular, you'll have
		to modify makefiles/mk.alpha to add the OpenGL
		libraries to SYSXLIBS.
