[ REQ 5580]: installing geomview

 have a new SGI machine--an Impact and I am trying to use/install geomview.

 INSTALL sez, in part:

 If you have just obtained a copy of the Sgi binary distribution
 (file "geomview-1.5-sgi.tar.Z"), you should be able to run Geomview and
 make use of most of its features immediately after unpacking it by
 "cd"ing to the directory that it is in and typing "geomview".


 Well, this doesn't work.  When I type geomview, nothing happens.

 (I  have Irix 5.3)

 and, no that's not a misprint it is 250 MHZ
