[ REQ 5742]: Geomview hangs on HPUX (gcl problem)

I've been playing with Geomview again, and noticed it has a
rather serious problem on HPs.  If you enter an unkown GCL
command (ie, "(blak)"), Geomview will hang.  This happens with
both the binary distribution and a version I compiled here.  The
