We didn't have a current Solaris binary lying around, but do now.  Pick up
   priv/slevy/gvx.solaris-X11.gz
This is something you can install in place of the Geomview/bin/sun4/gvx
executable in an existing sun4 geomview distribution.  It's the latest thing,
compiled with lots of optimization, and runs moderately fast on a Sparc 5 here
(about 5 frames per second with a 200x200 window and a couple thousand
polygons).  Note this is just a compressed binary, not a compressed tar pkg.

(Wanna try a benchmark?  Get geomview-speedtests.tar.Z from the same
directory, unpack it somewhere, type "make", and watch the numbers it prints.
Compare with values in the file "speeds".)
